Snooker news now, and Stephen Hendry and Ding Junhui were tied at 4-all after the first session of their second-round meeting at the World Championship.
The Chinese star got off to an edgy start with a break of 59, then made a superb 112 clearance to take a 2-0 lead.
Hendry pulled one frame back, but the seven time champion must have kicked himself for a sloppy miss on a straightforward red in the fourth frame, and trailed 3-1 at the mid-session interval.
But Hendry was determined to make up for his mistake and a break of 76 saw him back within one. The Scot then took the next two frames to lead 4-3, before Ding battled back to level the match in the eighth frame. The next two sessions of the match will resume on Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile on the other tables, John Higgins stormed through to the second round after beating Michael Holt 10-5. And Stephen Maguire defeat his friend Jamie Burnett 10-5 to move to the second round.
