Key trends for 2009 are long glamorous hippy curls or short sassy cuts, say hairstylists to the stars.

Jose Eber, hair stylist, said, "Like every year, basically glamorous hair is always very popular, very in, no matter how much we try to cut everybody's hair off, women want to follow glamour, follow Hollywood celebrities' hairstyles. It's been very popular so what I have to say about 2009 is we're going to see 'hippy chic' but still with a touch of glamour."

And it seems short is a big trend for 2009, according to Alexis Johnson, beauty editor at Angeleno magazine.
