Xiao Qian in 'A Chinese Ghost Story'

Xiao Qian in "A Chinese Ghost Story" is another classic role that traces back to the Qing Dynasty literature - "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio"- by writer Pu Songling.

Tsui remade the film adapted from director Li Han Hsiang's supernatural romance the "Enchanting Shadow" in 1987. The adaptation blended martial arts elements into fantasy. Hong Kong actress Joey Wong is cast as Xiao Qian, an elegant woman free from vulgarity.
