Peking Opera Blues

Peking Opera Blues, shot in 1986, depicts the adventures of three unlikely heroines. Brigitte Lin plays the starring role of Tsao Wan, a patriotic rebel who dresses as a man; Cherie Chung plays Sheung Hung, a woman in search of a missing box of jewels and Sally Yeh as Pat Neil, the daughter of a Peking Opera impresario. The three characters put their male peers into the shadows.
