The Christmas spirit has arrived in Rio de Janeiro with the unveiling of the largest floating Christmas tree in the world.

The tree, standing 85 meters and weighing 530 tons has made it into the Guinness Book of World Records for a second time. Decorated with angels and Christmas bells, the tree has been delighting audiences for 13 consecutive years.
Church bells and Christmas songs will be played around the tree every night. And fireworks will be launched from the sides and top of the tree every Saturday while it remains in the city until January 6th.
