| A man who learned how to climb from an American TV series has been detained for stealing 72 iPhone 4 handsets from a Shanghai warehouse, the Oriental Morning Post reports. The suspect, surnamed Lu, had worked in the warehouse in Jiading District and knew the layout, police said, adding that the suspect used professional rock-climbing equipment while committing the crime. Lu abandoned the equipment in a river near the warehouse and fled across the river. He was caught three days later. The stolen goods are worth nearly 400,000 yuan ($60,000), police said. |
