With strong performance in the Chinese market, Siemens said on April 2 that it has become No 3 among the worldwide mobile phone manufacturers.
Daniel Shen, vice-president of Shanghai Siemens, the company's major handset production base in China, said mobile phones will become more personalized with strong individual characteristics. He said people will change their phones more frequently with people pursuing the most fashionably designed, multi-functional handsets.
