Fetus' Ovary Helps Ease Menopause Syndrome

Chinese doctors have succeeded in using an ovary from an aborted female fetus to treat a woman who was suffering from menopause syndrome.

The No.2 Hospital of Zhengzhou University has transplanted the fetus ovary in a woman from the northern part of Henan Province, whose surname is Feng.

Feng, now 28, had been easily stressed and suffering from mood swings, disturbed sleep and insomnia over the past two years while her skin was becoming coarse.

Doctors diagnosed menopause syndrome caused by premature senility of her ovaries and transplanted the fetus ovary on the patient.

Since then, Feng's skin has resumed its natural softness and she has enjoyed a good night's sleep.
