China steps up protection against A/H1N1 flu
Adjust font size:

Departments in China ranging from Public Health to the quarantine authority are working to prevent the spread of the A/H1-N1 influenza.

China's Ministry of Health has ordered local health bureaus to set up special clinics for infectious diseases and fever. It has also ordered stepped up monitoring and daily reports.

The quarantine authority says all inbound passengers must fill in a health declaration form.

All transport vehicles arriving from affected areas must stop in designated spots and use special channels.

Meanwhile, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has included the A/H1-N1 influenza in its direct network report system. The network now covers nearly 97 percent of the medical facilities in China.
