The Democratic People's Republic of Korea has released video of what it says shows a rocket being launched into space.

The images are the only ones so far to reach the public domain. Pyongyang carried out the launch on Sunday from the coastal Musudan-ri launch pad in northeastern DPRK.

It says it put a satellite into orbit but the world is analyzing what appears to be largely another failure.
