"Metallic Attraction: Kungfu Cyborg", the latest effort from Hong Kong director Jeff Lau, will hit the cinemas across the country in August. Recently the movie's trailer unveiled the look of the leading role--the K100 giant cyborg.
The trailer of the sci-fi romance was screened at a press conference held by director Jeff Lau on Wednesday in Beijing. The video captivated the audience with its intricate plot and stunning visual effects.
Jeff Lau and cast members unveiled the giant movie poster, on which stands a zombie-like golden cyborg who's code named K100. All the cyborgs in the movie are well versed in Kungfu.
Set in the future 2046, the film is about a cyborg who falls in love with a human girl.
Compelling visual effects add to the film's luster. It's all the work of a team of computer experts who once contributed to the movie "Kungfu Hustle". From a variety of sophisticated weaponry tailored for the cyborg, changes to its appearance, and the movie's special effects, theater-goers can expect a lot of surprises.
