Artist Jackie Chan and his friends are going to belt out a few songs at Beijing's National Stadium on May the 1st. This will be the first concert at the Bird's Nest since the Olympic Games.

Jackie Chan talked to reporters at a press conference Wednesday in Beijing. The star of Kung Fu action movies says he's honored to be the first to hold a concert at the Bird's Nest since last year's Olympics.

Jackie Chan said, "This is not my solo concert. It is called 'Jackie Chan and His Friends'. I'm not a singer. I just try to do what I can to contribute my efforts to society."

Organizers say a number of big names in entertainment will join Chan on stage. And singers from quake-stricken areas of Sichuan province are also invited to perform with Chan.
