Ngawang Qozin said, "Tibetans believe it is always better to do something good for others, rather of seeking benefit for oneself. Monks and believers alike are grateful for life, and wish for a harmonious society. "
Thousands of believers come to the monastery every day. To cope with the number of visitors, the Drepung Monastery prolongs their praying for two days. But Awang Qunzeng says activities will continue throughout the year, with the peak season usually being in summer, when the monastery can have up to 10-thousand visitors in a single day.
