It takes 90 minutes to transform the affable, soft-spoken actor into a mean, green ogre.

Brian d'Arcy James, Shrek, said, "Well, we're here in my dressing room, here in the Broadway Theater where I just finished a 90-minute yoga exercise routine which is my patent-pending 'Yoga for Ogres.' You should try it; it will transform your life. And then afterwards I followed it up with a swamp water shiatsu, it keeps my horns from sagging."

Once the transformation is complete, Shrek and his Scottish accent are ready for that evening's audience. "Shrek the Musical" is currently playing at the Broadway Theater in New York.
