The children's Halloween parade took place in New York City on Friday, with costumes ranging from pumpkins to knights, as well as more traditional Halloween fare of ghosts and goblins.

The annual parade is for children under five years old and takes revellers on a tour of Washington Square Park in Manhattan. After the parade, participants go trick or treating in neighborhoods surrounding the park.
