A Chinese acrobatic performance has stunned Russian audiences in Moscow. The show was held at the Central Manezh Exhibition Hall next to Red Square.
Starting with the acrobatic dance "Dunhuang Sculpture", the show by the Hangzhou Acrobatic Troupe took the audience on a mind-boggling journey with eye-popping stunts.
With Chinese culture as the main theme, the performance spotlighted all the main stunts of Chinese acrobatics with somersaults, plate spinning, handstands on piled up chairs and juggling. The show was accompanied by classical Chinese music for an extra touch of oriental charm.
The grand finale came in the segment called "Butterfly Lovers." Performers twined around silk strips hung from the ceiling. The graceful movements combined with the beautiful music amazed the audience.
Spectators were impressed by the performance combining dazzling stunts and artistic flair. Many lingered at the theater after the show was over.
One audience member said "It's terrific! I'll bring my friends to the show next time."
