China's largest beer festival, the Qingdao International Beer Festival, opened over the weekend. Twelve renowned brewers from home and abroad have brought their best brews to quench the never ending thirst of the crowd.

The beer festival is riding on the wave of the successful Olympic sailing events held recently in the seaside city in east China's Shandong province.
