Qatari Al-Attiyah wins 3rd stage on cars at Dakar Rally

Qatari pilot Al-Attiyah of Volkswagen team on Tuesday won the 3rd stage on cars of the Dakar Argentina-Chile Rally 2011.
Al-Attiyah timed 3 hours, 42 minutes and 20 seconds in the 500 kilometers of the San Miguel de Tucuman-San Salvador de Jujuy trail, followed in second place by Spaniard Carlos Sainz of BMW at 25 seconds and in third place by French Stephane Peterhansel of BMW at 59 seconds.
