French pilot Cyril Despres of the KTM team on Monday won the second stage on motorbike of the Dakar Argentina-Chile Rally.
Despres made a time of 3 hours, 19 minutes and 11 seconds in the stage of 300 kilometers between Cordoba and San Miguel Tucuman, which also included 440 kilometers of connection.
The second place was for Spaniard Marc Coma from KTM at 1:49 behind and the third place was taken by French David Casteu of Sherco at 3:36.
At the end of the stage, Despres told the press: "It has been a tour with a lot of curves, so a lot of slips. It was a kind of gigantic slalom of 300km, with jumps as it happens in ski."
