       据英国《独立报》报道，英国军情五处（MI5）将派遣近乎机构中所有3800名特勤人员保护伦敦奥运会，应对因潜在的恐怖袭击而产生的担忧加剧。

       这是MI5自二战以来最大的行动，特勤人员的休假计划将受限制，而且反间谍人员也将被指派反恐巡逻任务。

       MI5的作用主要是监视那些可能发动恐怖袭击、破坏奥运的人员。
