He also denied Russia's intension to recall its ambassador in Japan, reported Xinhua News Agency. On Monday, Medvedev became the first Russian leader to set foot on Kuril, which angered the Japanese government. |

| A man with an inherited form of blindness has been able to identify letters and a clock face using a pioneering implant, the BBC reported. The chip was placed behind the retina. It allows patients to detect objects with their eyes, unlike a rival approach that uses an external camera. |
