Taiwan investors have shown increasing enthusiasm in investing in coastal city of Qingdao, in east coastal Shandong Province.
In the first 11 months of the year, 77 projects funded by Taiwan enterprises have been approved, involving a total investment of US$180 million, up 104 percent from the same period last year, statistics show.
Since the first Taiwan enterprise settled in Qingdao in 1987, more than 1150 Taiwan enterprises have come to invest in Qingdao and most have made good profits.
The Qingdao Government sets up special zones for investment from Taiwan, providing them with a safe and comfortable environment for their business.
