Brio Software announced in Hong Kong on Friday it has reached agreement with Kingdee International Software Group Co., Ltd. to help the latter expand its share of China's business intelligence market.
As one of Brio's premier partners, Kingdee will, according to the agreement, bundle Brio Performance Suite with its own ERP solution aimed at Chinese customers, which would bring significant value and benefits to the customers of both companies.
Founded in 1989, and headquartered in Santa Clara in the United States, Brio Software is a leading provider of next-generation business intelligence tools and applications.
"Brio's presence in China is relatively new, but we are working very well with each of our Chinese partners," said Betty Lin, general manager of Brio Software (Greater China). "I am very pleased to be able to announce this agreement between Brio and Kingdee because I know each of our products will add value to the other and our customers will benefit as a result," she added.
Kingdee is one of the top three ERP providers in China and the leading local ERP manufacturer. Faced with competition from global IT giants in China's competitive ERP market, Kingdee has been looking for international partners to reinforce its market presence and expand its offering.
"We are extremely excited about our alliance with Brio Software," said Robert Xu, Kingdee's Chairman and CEO. "In the last few years Kingdee has made great headway in the local ERP market but to reinforce our leadership, we must move forward to identify suitable partnerships to ensure our development. This is precisely what we have done with Brio and we are sure it will lead to great things for both parties."
Brio is a leading provider of business intelligence tools with 75 percent of Fortune 100 companies using the company's tools in their decision-making platforms.
