France-based Business Objects (BO) is to further expand its cooperation with Chinese enterprises, so as to push forward the localizing of its business intelligent software in China.
BO expressed willingness to cooperate with Chinese enterprises to develop software that is adapted to the requirements of Chinese enterprises, according to a recent forum for business intelligence held in Shanghai.
BO has decided to cooperate with Sino-foreign joint ventures in the software field for the purpose of speeding up the development of Chinese versions of software and in training professionals. The cooperation also aims to promote the research and development of a data bank, according to sources with BO.
To date, BO has established a business intelligent software training center in Beijing, and is preparing to set up another in Shanghai.
BO is one of the world's major e-commerce intelligence solutions providers. Its business intelligent software can help enterprises unify and turn their scattered data resources into usable information, providing a basis for enterprises to make analysis and decisions, and thus improving their capacity to tackle changes and improve competitiveness and service.
BO's business intelligent software first entered China's market five years ago. China Telecom and the Construction Bank of China have used such software and greatly improved their business operations, management and competitiveness.
This kind of intelligent software can be widely used in finance, communications, insurance, manufacturing, medical treatment and logistics, and can be used by government administrations.
BO has recently launched Chinese versions of its newly-developed Business Objects 5.12 and Webintelligence 2.6 software in Shanghai. The software has already attracted more than 150 users in the fields of finance, telecommunications and manufacturing in China.
