Chinese real estate developer Beijing North Star Co Ltd said it is eager to win contracts to build key projects for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, especially the massive athletes' village.
"What North Star is most interested in is the Olympics Village -- a living compound of 300,000-400,000 square meters for athletes," Chairman Li Yanling told reporters at the firm's annual performance briefing in Beijing.
The village, along with several sports facilities including a 80,000-seat stadium, an exhibition centre and a village for journalists, will be built near North Star's headquarters in the north of Beijing, Li said.
