NCR, a world-leading supplier of store automation products and solutions, has announced its business statistics, showing its China business has achieved fast growth.
NCR's ATM sales in the country have accounted for half of the China market, according to the statistics.
The US-based company signed a contract worth US$11 million with the Communications Bank, headquartered in Shanghai, to sell the bank four types of ATM: Persona 73, 74, 84 and 86.
It also sealed a contract worth US$13 million with the Bank of China.
In the first 10 months of this year, NCR sold Chinese banks a total of US$100 million-worth of ATMs, equal to its annual sales revenue in the country last year.
NCR has established cooperation with financial institutions in more than 130 countries, and its ATM products have a market share of 30 percent worldwide.
The company entered the China market 14 years ago. Its joint venture in Beijing, the third of its kind in the world, produces 8,000 ATMs annually.
