The 2001 China High- and New-Tech Industry Development and International Risk Investment Forum is slated to open on September 25 in Changsha, the capital of central China's Hunan Province.
The organizing committee announced here that the two-day forum will include discussions on how to spread new concepts and demonstrate achievements and ways to clinch deals for projects.
Cheng Siwei, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress, who is regarded as a pioneer in China's dealings in risk investment, will attend the forum and deliver a speech.
Renowned Chinese scholars and a number of internationally famous risk investors and trade agents from International Data Group (IDG), Paris Peregrine Investments Holding, SBC Warburg Asia Pacific Investment Limited and Hong Kong Exchanges will attend the forum.
