Between 20 and 30 of the more than 100 Beijing children who were stricken by food poisoning on Friday are still at the Beijing Central Aeronautics Hospital (Beijing Hangtian Zhongxin Hospital) for further observation.
However, none of them are in serious condition, according to Zhao Tao, a source with the Beijing Health Bureau.
The rest of the children have recovered and left the hospital, he said.
On Friday morning, students in Tuqiang Primary School in Beijing's Haidian District began exhibiting symptoms of food poisoning such as vomiting.
The students, who numbered more than 100, were immediately sent to Beijing Hangtian Zhongxin Hospital.
Tests are still being run to determine the source of the mass poisoning, and it is believed that the cause is related to what the children ate on the day of the occurrence, Zhao said.
