An international forum on how to teach morality in elementary education opened Friday in Qingdao, Shandong Province.

More than 150 experts and scholars from China, the United States, Australia and the Republic of Korea attended the seminar, with theme of global moral education in the future.

During the two-day event, the experts will host discussions about cooperation and management of moral education in the 21st century and new requirements on moral education with economic and social development.

The forum is jointly sponsored by the China Education Society, a Shanghai-based Sino-US middle school and a US moral education federation.
