A writing brush museum, the first of its kind in China, was opened to visitors Wednesday in Huzhou City in Zhejiang Province, in east China.
Huzhou is the hometown of "Hubi", a traditional Chinese brush pen that is believed to have a history of over two thousand years. Many renowned Chinese artists have used "Hubi" to create valuable calligraphy and paintings.
The museum, covering some 2,000 square meters, has seven exhibition halls that give a detailed introduction on the development history of "Hubi" and show some elaborate works done with this unique type of brush.
