Hong Kong government will sign air services agreements with the governments of the Republic of Hungary and the Republic of Estonia, the SAR government announced Tuesday.
The Secretary for Economic Services of the HK, Sandra Lee, will travel to Europe tonight to sign the agreements to that effect with the governments of the two countries.
Lee will also meet other senior government officials in these countries to exchange views on matters of mutual interest such as port development, logistics services and tourism.
At present, there are no direct air services between Hong Kong and Hungary and Estonia. The agreement will provide a legal framework for the establishment of air links between them.
Including these two agreements, the number of air services agreements signed by Hong Kong will be increased to 47.
