US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says the United States and India can jointly devise a breakthrough plan for fighting climate change.

She says the proposal would generate massive new investments and millions of jobs.
She says the US wants India to do more to fight climate change. But she also assured India that Washington would not impose conditions that would limit India's economic growth. Clinton arrived in India late on Friday.
She said that devising a comprehensive and strategic approach for achieving a clean energy future was a top priority during her three-day trip.
Climate change is one of the most contentious issues between India and the US.
That's because the Obama administration has been pushing New Delhi to accept limits on carbon emissions, as part of an international climate change agreement.
