The recently published Research Report on China's Movie Market provides an overview of the country's big screen. In today's countdown, we'll use the report's statistics to review the top five grossing productions in China so far this year.

NO. 5: Transporter 3

Transporter 3 is the only imported production that made it into the top five. It accounted for just under 5 percent of China's total box-office revenues in the first quarter. Thanks to the series' faithful fan base in China, it has done fairly well. However, hot on the heels of the film is the newly released Transformers 2, looking to knock it out of 5th place.
