An autopsy conducted by the county coroner on Friday deferred a decision on the cause of death.
Jackson's father said the second autopsy was already underway.
Joe Jackson, Michael Jackson's Father, said, "They are doing it right now, and I am expecting to hear about it real soon."
He denied reports that his son will be buried at his Neverland ranch.
And he said that Michael Jackson's children are happy and in the company of other children.
Meanwhile, Michael Jackson's mother has asked a Superior Court judge to name her administrator of her late son's estate so she can ensure his three children are its beneficiaries.
The court filing stated that Jackson's parents believed he died without a valid will.
Earlier in the day, a Superior Court judge granted Katherine Jackson's request to assume temporary guardianship of her son's children, but did not immediately rule on her request to administer their estate.
