Heat wave is sweeping across northern China on Wednesday. Some regions suffer a high temperature of up to 40 Celsius degrees.
The average temperature in Hebei province reached 38 Celsius degrees and above. Several cities, including Shi jiazhuang, Xingtai and Handan are even worse, above 40 Celsius degrees.
In Tianjin, regional temperature on Wednesday reached a record high of 39 degrees, while ultraviolet radiation reached its highest level. The city government has issued a orange-level heat warning.
Meanwhile in Shaanxi, the provincial meteorological bureau also issued its first orange-level warning of the year, as temperature in Yanan, Baoji, Xianyang, Xian and other cities surpassed 37 Celsius degrees.
Several other provinces and regions, including Shanxi, Hubei, Xinjiang and Anhui, also reported of suffering heat-wave on Wednesday.
