The state-run agency for Defense Development on Monday released footage of a recent test missile launch in the East Sea.
The missile can be launched into the air from a naval ship, and then submerges itself underwater to release a torpedo.
It will be mass produced and will be deployed on South Korea's most advanced destroyers starting next year.
