Early in the morning on Friday, iPhone fans and ordinary consumers were lining up for the new iPhone 3GS outside Apple Inc's flagship store on the Fifth Avenue of Manhattan, New York. However, the crowd was much smaller than it was last year.
A few hundred people were standing in line just before the 7 a.m. opening of the store, compared to the thousands that lined up for last year's model, the 3G.
However, the faster processor, an upgraded camera and the new function of video-taking still lured many consumers who were eager to experience the new excitement.
Osiris Caceres already got an old iPhone. He arrived here at 7:30 pm, Thursday, hoping to record his two-year-old son's video and send it to family members and so forth.
"Like I said, the video recording is what I'm setting about. The 3mega pixels camera is pretty cool so. I'm looking forward to that. Everything else. I guess I could describe it at home when I'm putting around with it. And that's it. But I'm excited. I really am. I waited for a long time so. Looking forward to play around the phone when I get home," said Osiris Caceres.
