A woman was rescued from polar bears at Berlin zoo after jumping in to their enclosure and being attacked by one of them.
The woman repeatedly fell into the water as she was bitten on her arms and legs. A witness says that as the zoo staff tried to get her out, the polar bears pulled her back as if playing a game.
Zoo keepers used long sticks to push the bears away and tossed meat into the enclosure to distract them. Once the woman was rescued she was treated at the scene and taken to hospital.
