Premier Wen meets with DPRK counterpart

The DPRK premier said he has read Wen Jiabao's government work report to this year's annual NPC session. He noted that the Chinese government has made great efforts to ease the impact of the global financial crisis, and overcome the worst drought in 50 years. Kim also expressed the DPRK's consistent support for China on issues related to Taiwan, Tibet and human rights.

Kim will also meet President Hu Jintao during his five-day official visit to China.
