The drivers who have already signed up to compete in the new Formula Two category of racing saw their car on Monday for the first time.

The competitors will be racing in the hope of breaking into Formula One in the future. The F1 Williams team has designed the Formula Two car. It is being mass produced for a championship series expected to act as an economic feeder series for Formula One. Patrick Head and Frank Williams of the Formula One team joined former Formula One driver Jonathan Palmer to unveil the car at Brands Hatch, south of London.
