In the ancient town of Fenghuang in Central China's Hunan province,a festival atmosphere lingers, with alleys still crowded with tourists. A new highway linking the town has opened recently, and more visitors are arriving by car. Eight thousand vehicles arrive in the town every day.

One traveller from Henan province said "My family and friends drive to Fenghuang. It is a very beautiful town."
