The transport staff are not the only ones working hard as the festive season approaches, business is also picking up at flower markets around the country.

In Southwest China's Yunnan Province, sales at the country's biggest flower market are up 20 percent compared to usual. Up to 12 million flowers are sold at the the Dounan flower market every day, worth as much as eight million yuan. Sales are expected to increase as the festival draws nearer.
And in Zhejiang Province in east China, workers at a flower farm say they have sent 100,000 roses to the market in recent days. They quickly sold out, despite being twice the usual price. In northeast China's coastal city of Dalian, farmers are busy packaging flowers. These flowers sell for between 300 to two thousand yuan per pot during the festival period.
All over the country, flower markets are bustling, as people buy flowers to send to their loved ones and decorate their homes for the festival.
