A nationwide online job fair was held on Monday in a move to boost employment. |
This year's event saw some changes in recruitment companies. At last year's online job fair, foreign trade enterprises accounted for 44 percent of the total participants. But this year, their proportion shrank to less than 30 percent.
Participating enterprises at the previous session mainly came from coastal regions such as Guangdong and Zhejiang provinces. But this year they are concentrated on inland provinces like Hunan, Hubei and Anhui provinces.
Li Jianmin, Vice Director of National Center for Human Resources said "In order to provide more chances for job seekers, we have teamed up with over 30 HR institutions nationwide to build up the platform and release job information. Job seekers only need to log on to any of these web sites, then they will get job information from around the whole country."
The online fair has also launched a special HR zone for job seekers from quake-hit areas. Organizers say in the next one month, more enterprises will join the online event.
