Visitors to the Central de Investigacion Animal, or CIA, get an ID card. Playing off on the museum's shared initials with the American Central Intelligence Agency, visitors become "Special Agent Z008".
During the tour, each participant is asked to undertake different missions consisting of games, puzzles and other interactive pursuits.
These activities in pursuit of greater knowledge about animals can be physically challenging.
They include imitating the flight of birds , racing a cheetah, balancing on ice like polar bears, learning about the diet of gorillas and lifting weights the way ants do.
Each completed activity, earns points. At the end of the tour visitors can see how they rated in their environmental experience.
The entertainment at the Guadalajara Zoo has a serious educational message. It's all about wildlife conservation. The concept is popular with children and adults.
