FIFA president Sepp Blatter is set to visit Zimbabwe during the 2010 World Cup, a top Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) official said.

"The ZIFA president (Cuthbert Dube) presented the official request from our association for Blatter to visit our country and the FIFA president said he would be doing so," ZIFA chief executive Henrietta Rushwaya told the Herald newspaper.

The newspaper hailed the planned visit as an honor for Zimbabwek.
