Star midfielder Ronaldinho Gaucho led on Sunday a recent public opinion poll as to which player Brazilians want to see in the 2010 World Cup.
The information was collected by the Brazilian newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo.
Responding to the question of which player they would like to see added to Dunga's list of players he will take to South Africa, Brazilians throughout 144 cities preferred Ronaldinho Gaucho.
Ronaldinho received 30 percent of the public support. The 18-year-old striker for Santos, Neymar, placed second with 16 percent. Roberto Carlos received 11 percent while his teammate at Corinthians, Ronaldo, finished in fourth place with 9 percent.
Should Ronaldinho make Dunga's list of athletes to travel to South Africa, it will be his third appearance at the World Cup.
The Brazil head coach is scheduled to announce the squad on May 10.
