Police have shot and killed dozens of exotic animals that escaped from a private zoo in Zanesville, Ohio, BBC reported.

Sheriff Matt Lutz said he personally gave the order to shoot the escaped animals, including grizzly bears, black bears, wolves, tigers and lions.

The animals' owner, Terry Thompson, was found dead at the zoo, and police believe he killed himself.

Lutz said a preliminary investigation suggested Thompson left fences open at the farm.

美警察追杀逃亡猛兽

       据英国广播公司报道，美国俄亥俄州曾斯维尔的警方四处寻找从一家私人动物园逃窜的猛兽，最后射杀了数十只动物。
