John Goldfinch, 61, battled to reel-in what he thought was an enormous fish pulling on his line only to discover it was a scuba diver he had caught by the leg, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Goldfinch was fishing for mackerel on the beach at Budleigh Salterton when he felt a huge bite. The thrilled angler had to fight to reel in the catch as he looked forward to netting a massive fish. But his excitement turned to shock when his hook surfaced about 15 meters offshore to reveal the hapless frogman.

To add insult to injury the diver had been hooked between his legs.

"The funniest thing was that his girlfriend then surfaced, helped him remove my tackle from his tackle and nonchalantly handed the hook back to me and apologized," Goldfinch said.

老人钓鱼钓到潜水员

       61岁的约翰·戈德芬奇自以为钓到了一条大鱼，便使劲儿收线，却惊讶地发现原来是把一位潜水员的腿给钩住了。

       据英国《每日电讯报》报道，戈德芬奇当时正在巴德利索尔特顿岸边钓鲭鱼，忽然感觉到鱼钩被重重的咬住了。兴奋的他使劲儿收线，希望钓到的是条大大的鱼。结果，在离岸边15米远的水里，被鱼钩拉出水面的竟是一个倒霉的潜水员！戈德芬奇的兴奋就变成震惊了。

       而更令人尴尬的是，鱼钩竟然钩住了潜水员的裆部。

       戈德芬奇说：“最搞笑的是，他女朋友随后也露出了水面，帮着他把鱼钩从潜水服上弄下来，然后很淡定的交给我，还冲我道了歉。”
