| A Belgian man renovating a house in Ghent found 255,000 pounds in cash that had been left behind unclaimed from when the building had housed a bank almost 10 years ago, the Daily Telegraph reports. Ferhat Kaya, 33, had bought the property, a former branch of Belgium's Dexia bank, at a cost of 153,000 pounds to house his accounting firm and before accepting the keys turned down the estate agent's quote of 3,000 pounds to remove an old safe. Instead he called two close friends to remove the metal vault. They found bags of 20 and 50 euro bills. The receipts were still there, dated Dec. 31, 2001. |

The patch protects an eye that Prince Frederic Von Anhalt accidentally glued shut Tuesday morning, publicist John Blanchette said. "It was dark and he grabbed his wife's nail glue instead of eye drops," Blanchette said. Gabor, 93, also suffered an eye injury years ago when she mistakenly used "crazy glue" on her eyelashes. |

The couple got married Dec. 16 in Zhejiang Province's Ningbo City after being acquainted for one year. But the husband believed his wife lacked adequate hygiene. "She hasn't washed her hair in five days and doesn't like to take a bath," the man complained. His wife said it isn't easy to change her habits so quickly and believes it unnecessary to "frequently" wash her hair and clothes during the cold of winter. |
