印度《爱经》出英文修订版

A. N. D. Haksar, an Indian scholar, has produced a revised version of the Kama Sutra that presents it as a "lifestyle guide for the modern man and woman", adapted to modern life and relationships, the Daily Telegraph reports. Haksar's version, to be published by Penguin in February 2011, revamps the ancient sex guide as a lifestyle reference manual. According to a review published in the Sunday Telegraph, the erotic drawings and sexual illustrations that accompanied earlier translations have been removed.

据英国《每日电讯报》报道，印度著名古籍《爱经》将于明年2月推出全新英文修订版本，由英国企鹅出版社出版。该出版社称，新版本将被定义为“现代男女的生活指南”。企鹅出版社还表示，新修订的《爱经》将不会出现春宫画和性交示意图，而是一本用优雅的方式呈现现代男女生活指南的纯文本袖珍手册。英文修订版的《爱经》由印度学者哈克萨（A. N. D Haksar）翻译。
